The ACLS online certification page could improve it’s design by making a few simple changes to the layout and structure of the website. My first suggestion would be to clean up the site and make it a little more simple by eliminating some of the words on the page. The goal is to get the visitor to use the call to action buttons. And with more information after the call to action the visitor might be more likely to click the call to action. In other words, make each section simple and clear what it is and how they can learn more by clicking. My second suggestion would be to stagger the information a little better. With the first two sections stacked, then the next two stacked, and so on causing a little bit of an imbalance to the page. Maybe alternating the sections location may help. These are a few things that I think could be considered to improve the webpage.
If I could make a change to the evolution of CPR infographic I would change a few things. Although I do like the simplicity and color scheme of the infographic. To improve the infographic I would utilize a little more of the empty space to shift things around so the text could be a little bigger. Its hard to read the small lettering. The second thing I would change is the cityscape about half way down for some reason breaks the line. It should say why it does or it should have a lower opacity and have the red line continue.
The medical coding and billing online program page could improve it’s design by making a few changes. Initially I didn’t know what the website wanted me to do. I think with a better more striking opening page you will be able to draw a costumer in to exactly what you want them to do. In other words give the costumer a purpose on the front page. Whether it’s to click a button or to learn something specific. To me I don’t find much purpose on the front page which can be devastating to a website. And there is nothing wrong with starting simple even with a complex product. I also think it would be beneficial to change the color scheme. That isn’t a good looking green to go with the blue color. Another improvement that might be considered is to avoid using lots of different sizes and colors of text. Keep it simple use 1 to 2 colors and no a wide range of font sizes. I think this will clean up the look of the page and it will look more professional. There are also LOTS of words, which these days isn’t the best idea. Videos might do better. That was a lot of feedback but I hope one of two of the points I made will be of consideration and help.
